Hey, how’s everyone doing?
With my finances, March is always the month where I feel the heaviest. I don’t like to complain, but it seems like everything that could go wrong or that might call for a budgeting strategy for an upcoming event begins in that month.
It must be the weather change. There is no alternative. Everything from my children’s stuffy eyes and runny nose to my disbelief at how much I owe the IRS to my car’s inability to start.

Otherwise, we are doing well.
My dividend income is at least one thing I can always anticipate.
Dividends for March 2023
I received $73.28 for the month of March. This is an increase of 29.03% from the same period last year. Last week, I added another dividend aristocrat, VF Corporation to my portfolio. In a later post, I’ll explain why I think highly of that company.
March 2023 Expenses
I spent $2,261 throughout the month of March. I suspected that I spent more than my $2000 monthly spending cap. Yet it was essential.
